　I think this letter will be a surprise for you. I got to know you from your patient Wang Li of Jiangsu Province. Her father's headache was cured in your hospital. I heard that you were good at deafness curing. My father has been deaf for 12 years. I heard from my grandma that my father suffered from chronic upperative otitis media in his childhood; there was always yellow water from his ears. My mother has gone to many places for my father's deafness but have no effect. But if take operation, it would be on the head because of his severe deafness. His left ear cannot hear anything, while the right ear is a little better. Only speaking to him near his ear, he can hear. We have bought two hearing aids, but his left ear still cannot hear with the hearing aid. I am not sure what kind of tinnitus and deafness it is and don't know whether it can be cured.

　I heard that if my father took the operation, he needed to change the tympana. But the plastic tympana will melt if he catches a cold, and he still cannot hear. That is why we are hesitating for the operation. And also we don't know how much the success rate is.
